Our Mission

Southeastern Women in Financial Services (SWIFS), founded in 2016, is a network of women attorneys working in the financial services space, whether directly working within financial institutions or acting as outside legal advisers. Our mission is two-fold: (1) Enrich the professional lives of SWIFS members through leadership education, networking with industry professionals, coaching, mentoring, and continuing legal education; and (2) support the financial education and economic security of women in the Southeast through community partnerships, education, and advocacy.

Following an election process by the Board of Directors, SWIFS is proud to announce that Alise Johnson will take over the title of SWIFS Co-Chair.

Alise has been instrumental on the Education Committee since SWIFS was founded in 2016. She was recognized as the 2019 Member Of The Year for her contributions to SWIFS programming. We look forward to continuing to grow under her leadership and vision.
